It's finally happening - Shipping happening in 2 weeks!

HEY GUYS

So... We have received news from our factory that ALL Quiver X has been completed! 

While Nock Pack is about 10 days away from completion...

Though there were many hip-cups along the way ( Being told that our Nock Pack wasn't up to par on the waterproofing, unexpected delays in YKK zippers, sudden change of zippers etc), we are happy to say that we managed to solve MOST of them. More details to follow... 

BUT FIRST, GOOD NEWS: 

1. SHIPPING 

As of now, our timeline is still right on track as we're preparing to send out the completed bags in about 2 weeks when the Nock Pack is done with production. 

Many of you should start expecting tracking numbers and shipments around week 3 / 4 of June. 

2. Olive Green Update

Psst. For those who ordered Olive Green Quivers, here's a closer look at the AMAZING color - we were shocked ourselves at how it turned out. 

When we introduced this color, we didn't even manage to do a sample of it due to our time constraints. But as our company goes - we #BeBOW-ed and went ahead to place the order in the mass production. THANKS FOR THE LEAP OF FAITH - inserts smiley face - 

Here's what we need to settle next: 

1. Packaging may not be nice :( 

Because we up-sized Quiver X to ensure it'll fit in with most 15 inch laptops, the packaging order that we had placed were completely wrong. Leaving us with thousands of packaging that were waaaaay too small... 

We're currently refunding the packaging and opting for ready-made ones to ensure that shipment happens ASAP. This would mean a not-so-nice packaging in exchange for a faster lead time for the shipment to happen. But rest assured - all the Quiver X would make up for the experience ;) 

2. Instructions on fitting in the straps

As the straps are detachable, all the straps that come with Quiver X are going to be undone in the bag itself. Some peeps have voiced out that it's a little tricky to fit the straps in. 

Hence, we would be posting tutorials next week on how to fit in your straps to convert from a hand carry to a messenger to a backpack ;) Instructions are also included in the bags (with minor spelling errors but hey! Don't be a grammar Nazi :P ) 

So stay tuned! 

3. Shipping Addresses 

Till date, we're still waiting for some of you to fill in your shipping addresses. If you're shifting homes in the next month, do drop us an email at [email protected] to let us know your new mailing address and your backer number :) 

4. Personalizing Your Quivers

Quick Update on Production

HELLO EVERYONE

It's been a while... *Inserts leaves rustling sound effect* Don't worry, we haven't forgotten you guys...In fact, we were thinking so much about you that we're telling everyone who's preordering Quiver X and Nock Pack on our website right now that they'd receive the bags at least LATER than everyone here. 

After all, you guys are the OG.

NOW, ONTO THE UPDATES...

As usual, here's the TL;DR

1. Slight hiccups in Production BUT still on time for delivery in June 

2. Surprise Upgrade for Quiver X

4. Personalising your Quiver X - Name Embroidery AVAILABLE from Good Friday onwards

Read on if you want the more detailed version... 

1) Slight hiccups in production 

Here's the situation: Factory A provides the fabric. Factory B does the smell-proof technology on fabric. Factory C does the stitching of fabric into a bag. 

So, where's the hiccup? Factory B had some problems with the application on the fabric (it's finally done), taking a little longer than expected. And the person in charge was on leave yada yada... BUT as of today, the treated fabric is going to be sent to Factory C within the week. 

Though we had wanted to surprise you and send the bags to you earlier (like our first campaign), we decided to spend a bit more time to ensure all the nitty-gritty was what you guys backed for... BUT REST ASSURED, YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR BAGS IN JUNE :) 

2. Surprise Upgrade  

Why the delay?  

Instead of just latching the anti-odor agent on the outer fabric, we decided to use it for the entire bag. That's right - in and out, everything. ALL the fabric on Quiver X is going to be treated with the agent when we promised you guys just the outer fabric initially ;) The reason being we didn't think it made sense that the inner fabric didn't have the agent since your dirty gym clothes and shoes were going to be on the inside...

How's that for an upgrade? 

3. Changes in delivery address? 

For those who wish to change your delivery address, don’t fret! Changing your address is as simple as changing out our straps from a backpack to a sling bag to a hand carry ;) (Tutorial coming in our next update) As long as it's BEFORE 15 May 2019, nudge us at [email protected] or hit us at our socials at @bowforbold on Facebook and Instagram and we’ll update it on our end. 

4) Personalising your Quiver X 

Some of you might know that we offer name embroidery services during festive seasons of the year. We wanted you guys to have the option during the crowdfunding period but we were afraid our logistics guys couldn't handle it. 

Turns out, they can. So... 

Get ready - we are going to offer name embroidery on our website at bowforbold.com come 19 May 2019... Subscribe to our newsletter in our website to be updated when we drop the name embroidery ;) Comment down below what colors you want us to offer for name embroidery and we'll do our best to MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Your Final Quiver…REVEALED.

Hello Guys, 

We know, we know. It's been some time since our last update. Scroll below for the TL:DR Message...

But hey! We have a good reason (excuse...)! 

Over the last 2 weeks, our team was rushing to place the Quiver X orders with our manufacturers and finalizing the nitty gritty just before our factory closes for the whole month of February. 

However, we are PSYCHED to say that we've firmed up 100% of the Quiver X that you'd be receiving! Here are all the edits that we'd be making...

#1: Double the pockets, double the convenience 

Many of you have specially requested for an additional quick access pocket at the side. After testing it out ourselves, we were sold. You guys be the designers now. 

Hence, every Quiver X now comes with 2 two deux zwei Due side pockets! 

#2: Bigger is better

From the feedback we've gotten from some of our early users (aka the team), we realized the laptop compartment felt a lil' too squeezy for some 15 inch laptops out there. So, we upped the size slightly but the awesomeness majorly. 

For those who are worried about the increased size, don't worry you won't be able to tell the difference on the outside. 

#3: Inward-facing Card Slots 

Ok, no one really said anything about this. BUT we were itching for some extra plus points for you. Previously, the card slots for the backpack was all facing the left side - which meant that if you wanted to take your card from the right side, you had to awkwardly  twist your hand. Introducing your new card slots... 

#4: Olive Quiver in real life 

The last time we asked you guys to vote, majority of you picked the black/olive combination as the Kickstarter Special color. Here's a close up of the colors in real life - yes, the black on the outside is as black as it can get!

What's Next?

WE DID IT.  

After a gruelling 45 days, we ended our campaign with... 

495% Funded. 409 Backers. 

Thank you, thank you and thank you for being with us from the start. When we first created Quiver X, we fell in love. But, we didn't know if the world would. Through these 45 days, we received so many messages, comments and emails that made every sleepless night and table flip moments (ok, just once) so worth it.  

What's next? SURVEYS COMING SOON. 

ATTENTION: For those of you who wanted to add a Nock Pack or another Quiver X into your pledge... 

Over the past few days, we've been busy setting up some surveys for you to indicate your color choices and mailing addresses. Hold your horses because the surveys will be sent to you latest by next week. 

NITTY GRITTY of Surveys 

This time round, we decided to team up with Backerkit to collect your color preferences and any add ons you missed out during the campaign... 

1. NO BackerKit account required 

When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

2. Changing Responses to your Surveys

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. 

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact us directly.

First things first

We'd like to extend our season greetings! Merry belated Christmas and a happy 2019 to all of you! We've been busy stuffing ourselves with Christmas goodies and reconnecting with friends, family and some of our tribe members too.
